No Point in Being Blue

This primary bathroom remodel was designed to create a serene, highly functional retreat that supports daily routines with ease while feeling layered, warm, and thoughtfully detailed.

Scope: We designed a complete renovation of the primary bathroom, including all new hard surfaces such as floor and shower tile, new shower glass and shower curb with the same custom planed quartz countertop material used on the vanities. The custom his & her vanities were designed with integrated storage for hair tools and internal electrical outlets for charging and everyday convenience. Replacing the oversized and (under used) tub with a freestanding tub and creating a niche with shelving adds a lovely contrast to the tongue and groove paneling and one (of two) wallpapers used in this space. In addition to the wood tones in the vanities and shelving, we layered in additional warmth with  top-down bottom-up woven Roman shades that allow natural light in, while maintaining privacy. The complimentary hues in this space allow the diverse patterns to work together beautifully.
